Mangesh B. Patel, MD, received his medical degree (M.B.B.S.) from B.J. Medical College in Ahemdabad Gujarat, India, where he also completed a rotating internship in medicine, surgery, and gynecology. Dr. Patel completed a residency in general surgery at M.P. Shah Cancer Hospital in in Ahemdabad Gujarat, India. Following his graduation from medical school Dr. Patel also received a Master of Surgery (MS) degree from B.J. Medical College in Ahemdabad Gujarat, India. He then completed a post-graduate year I, II, III and IV residency in general surgery at the prestigious Booth Memorial Medical Center in Flushing, New York.

Juan Carlos Najarro, MD
General Practice
Juan C. Najarro, MD, received his medical degree Cum Laude from the Universidad Ibero Americana School of Medicine in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Prior to attending medical school, he completed an accelerated pre-medical program at and attended Miami Dade Community College and Florida International University where he studied arts and sciences.
He completed an internship at HIMA San Pueblo Hospital in Caguas, Puerto Rico. He is also affiliated with Colegio de Medicos-Cirujanos de Puerto Rico. After completing medical school Dr. Najarro was active in community service as he participated in the Hurricane Maria relief and rescue program in Humacao, Puerto Rico, where he collaborated with the city of Humacao to provide medical services within the community and oversee the medical needs of patients unable to leave their homes.
In 2012 and 2013 Dr. Najarro participated in the M.A.S Foundation in Miami, Florida, with his medical school colleagues. They established a foundation in honor of a deceased medical student that provides aid to orphaned Dominican Republic children and provide scholarships to deserving high school students who aspire to become physicians.
Dr. Najarro is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Mauricio Bermudez, MD
Board Certified in Family Medicine
Mauricio Bermudez, MD, graduated from the Military Medical School Nueva Granada in Bogota, Columbia in 1984. Dr. Bermudez worked for about 10 years as Chief Medical Officer on several major cruise lines providing preventative care for cruise members and acute care for passengers.
Dr. Bermudez completed a residency in family practice at the Universidad Central del Caribe, Puerto Rico. He is now board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Bermudez also completed a straight internship in pediatrics at Universidad Central del Caribe in Puerto Rico.
He has been practicing at Phoenix American Medical, LLC, since August 2019.

Usha Agarwal, MD
Internal Medicine
Usha Agarwal, MD, completed a Fellowship in infectious disease at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the College of Physicians & Surgeons Columbia University, New York Harlem Hospital Center, New York, where he also completed his internship in general medicine.
Dr. Agarwal received his medical degree from the prestigious Mahatma Gandhi Memorial College in Indore, India. Prior to his practice here in Pasco County and Florida, Dr. Agarwal was actively involved in teaching medical students rotating from the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Columbia University, New York, and University of Medicine & Dentistry in New Jersey. He was also heavily involved in the women’s HIV Clinic in Newark, New Jersey.
From 2007 to present he has held a variety of leadership positions on the hospital medical staff, from members of the peer review committee to being a member of the Medical Executive Committee and Vice Chief of Medicine.

Jerrica Sawyer, MS, BS
Nurse Practitioner
Jerrica Sawyer, MS, BS, is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. She received her MS degree as a family nurse practitioner at Concorida University Wisconsin, Mequon, Wisconsin. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of South Florida in Tampa and is certified in ACLS and BLS.
Jerrica has practiced as both a staff nurse at Medical Center of Trinity and a nurse practitioner since 2012. She has also completed advanced practice nursing I, II, and III. Jerrica is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

Hayley Exline, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC
Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Hayley Exline, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, received her Master of Science degree in nursing as a family nurse practitioner from Chamberlain University where she graduated in 2021. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Grand Canyon University where she graduated in 2019. She also holds an Associate of Science in nursing degree registered nurse from Rasmussen University where she graduated in 2014. She in addition to her certifications as a Florida Nurse Practitioner and ANCC, she also holds an APRN and an RN degree and is BLS, ALS and AHA certified. She has had extensive experience in the areas of internal medicine, pediatrics, urgent care, and family practice.
In 2020 she was awarded the Caring Star Award by Oak Hill Hospital.

Vinayal Joseph, APRN, holds a Master of Science degree as a family nurse practitioner from the University of South Florida. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the prestigious Mahatma Gandhi University in Kottayam Kerala, India. She holds an ANP certification as a family nurse practitioner and is a professional registered nurse licensed in Florida.
Vinayal is certified in Basic Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Indian Nurses Association and Phi Beta Kappa. She has over 16 years of diverse clinical experience in the health care field including exposure to a multitude of veterans’ health care issues. She has a reputation for excellent critical care thinking as well as astounding interpersonal and organization skills. Vinayal has been practicing in the Tampa Bay area since 2006.
